Answers to some of our most frequently asked questions

How do I book?

Download the Artisté app from the App Store or Google Play and book your on-demand hair and makeup in as little as 2 hours before your desired appointment time.

If you prefer to book online, you can do so via the Book Now button on our website. For assistance booking an appointment, our concierge is available by calling 0161 870 9154 or by emailing service@artiste.co.uk.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Dependant on the service chosen, we advise that 10 – 15 minutes prior to the arrival of your artisan you thoroughly wash and dry your hair, without applying any styling or serum products.

If you have booked one of our makeup services please wash and cleanse your face prior to your appointment, without applying any products to your face and neck area.


My appointment status is showing as “Pending”

This means we have received your request and are now assigning one of our expert hair and/or makeup artisans to your booking.

As soon as your booking has been confirmed you will receive a notification from the Artisté app and the Booking Status tab of the app will reflect this change.

Can I customise a service I’ve seen on the menu?

Yes! Each of our services can be fully customised to suit any occasion or attire.

Upon booking through the Artisté app you’ll be asked to complete a short pre-appointment consultation form. Please tell us how you would like to customise the service here, for example, “I would like my hair curly, not straight”.


What products do you use?

Each of our luxurious on-demand hair services are created using cruelty-free hair care and styling products from Balmain Paris Hair Couture.

Our artisans take pride in their kitbags and only carry the industry’s leading products and equipment.

Where do you travel?

Our services are currently available to clients in Birmingham, Cheshire, Manchester and Staffordshire.

I had a problem with my service

If your appointment doesn’t live up to your expectations, we would love to hear your feedback.

Please email service@artiste.co.uk with your feedback, your booking reference number (found on your confirmation email) and an image of your service.


Who will perform my service?

Our appointments are performed by hand-picked and incredibly talented Artisté professionals – we refer to them as artisans.

The team comprises of industry professionals with a wealth of knowledge and a passion for what they do. All of our artisans are fully qualified, insured and have passed an onboarding and trade assessment prior to joining us.
